Memorial Day and Weekend

Wow, what a busy week.  Erin is modeling the apron I made from a panel I got from Walmart for $9.  I made it one afternoon last week.  It turned out rather cute, I think--especially with Erin modeling it.  Our weekend was very enjoyable.  We had a Wiener Roast in our back yard.  Erin brought the Chips and Marshmallows, and my sister, Donna brought Chili, Apple Pie, and Ice cream--Yum!
Notice the wood pile from the Ice Storm I talked about in my last post.  We used some of the wood to roast our wieners with.  Also take a look at the clothes line pole--The neighbor's tree fell on it in the storm.  It took a pretty good wallop.
Here I am modeling the apron--Erin's a better model---Should have gotten Donna to model it too.

We also went to decorate our parents headstone.  You never outgrow your parents love; they were such good parents.  I miss them.
(I sure am getting grey headed-Yikes!)
This is me, Jerri, our daughter, Erin is next, then my baby sister, Donna, and brother Dan.  My sister Alice was out of town, and our two middle siblings are no longer with us--we miss them greatly also.
We also had to get our feet wet.  That's just part of our tradition.  My hubby took the pictures--Ain't he sweet?!
