Flowers And Apple Cores


We received a little much needed rain--Yea!


I cut all my apple cores for my table runner.


I pieced a few while we were watching movies.


Country Patriotic Colors.


My new dahlia--one of them anyway.


Lovely, graceful, whisper nicotiana.


And phlox.

    I LOVE the look of the apple cores, all those curved seams would scare me though.

    I love apple cores, but found my mini cores to be too challenging for me. Your project looks great!

    Your apple core quilt is going to be beautiful! All that hand piecing...I'd love to make one, but think I had better wait until after I finish my hexagon quilt! Happy Fourth!

    It's lovely to see your flowers and garden - we are in the bleak depths of winter and everything is brown or grey! Your apple cores look really good, it sounds like a nice peaceful hand work project.
